I’ve led what many might call a charmed life. But when I look back, like most people, I realise that life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way. From relationship struggles to navigating single parenthood, dealing with a very premature baby needing surgery, negotiating a divorce, and overcoming toxic friendships, I’ve faced difficult moments, as we all do.
However, what I’ve discovered over the years is this: it’s not the external challenges we face that define us—it’s how we respond to them. Epictetus said, “We cannot control the external events around us, but we can control our reactions to them.” This perspective has been my guiding light, helping me navigate life’s ups and downs.
I am deeply curious about what makes people tick—how they approach life, and how their choices reflect on them. It’s this curiosity that drives my work and fuels my passion for life coaching. I’ve always been fascinated by the question: What makes some people more ‘successful’ than others? For me, success isn’t just about achieving goals; it’s about living authentically and fulfilling one’s potential. I find joy in partnering with individuals to help them uncover what’s holding them back and assist them in moving toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Life coaching wasn’t always the plan. In fact, my journey began in a very different field. After a difficult divorce, I found myself struggling to figure out my next steps. It was during this period that I picked up a book on coaching—and at that moment, I knew I had found my calling. I wanted to help people the way that book helped me.
This desire to help others isn’t new, though. Before life coaching, I trained as a nurse and worked with oncology patients. I also explored the world of beauty and holistic therapy, where I discovered my ability to connect with people on a deeper level. Over the years, I honed my skills in communication, empathy, and emotional support, and eventually trained in life coaching, counselling, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
My coaching philosophy is simple: I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard. In our time together, I ask insightful questions and offer thoughtful advice, helping you look beyond the surface issue to uncover the root of the problem. I believe that sometimes, all it takes is a simple shift in perspective to spark profound change.
I’m passionate about helping people find their clarity and confidence. Whether you’re facing a challenge, or simply feeling uncertain about the direction of your life, I’m here to guide you toward a more fulfilling and empowered future. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Let’s start the conversation and begin working toward your brighter, more confident path forward.
